It doesn’t get much smaller than this! Cute handmade Pottery Mini Mug Earrings.
This pair of mini mug earrings are finished in a mixture of white and gold. Gold on the inside and around top rim, the remaining outside is white.
Handmade from white stoneware clay, white glaze and genuine gold.
All pottery mini mugs are wheel-thrown by me (Mel Edwards at Pots About Pottery) using white stoneware clay. After bisque firing, these micro mugs are glazed then fired to 1200 degrees celcius. They are fired again after gold lustre is added to the inside and top rim.
When they have been removed from the kiln for the third time the mini mugs are ready to be made into (dangle) drop earrings using gold plated ear wires.
I work from my cosy Wiltshire (UK) studio, bisque fired, then glazed and fired using an electric kiln. Each item is made one by one by me and will vary in size and colour.
Mini Mug dimensions vary from just 8mm to 9mm in height and 12mm to 15mm in width.
